How do I join Kissing Cuisine and how much does it cost?
Joining is free. Simply click on the "Join Now" button and use the form provided to choose your screen name and password.
What are the benefits of joining?
Being a member allows you to upload videos, submit reviews of other videos, and keep a "My Recipes" profile page.
Viewing Videos
How do I view KissingCuisine videos?
Anyone can view the videos on the website at anytime.
How do I find a recipe?
Go to Video Cookbook and choose your search criteria. You may want to search by keywords.
How do I submit a review "Kiss the Cook"?
- You must be a member.
- You must be logged in.
- You may only review a video once. So be careful! From left to right, one kiss is not good while five kisses is great! Click on the furthest left kiss that you feel the video deserves.
Uploading Video
How do I upload my video?
When your video is ready to upload it should be no longer than 10 minutes or over 100MB. We suggest the 10 minute length just so it doesn't become too boring for the viewer. You must become a member if you haven't already done so.
- Go to the "Video Cookbook". Click on "upload".
- Use the form provided to give your video a title. Under channels, you may choose the type of meal.
- You may write a description of the recipe.
- Now, you need to provide tags for your recipes. These are the search criteria. For example, if you're uploading chicken soup, the tags may be soup chicken noodle hot. Do not separate the tags by commas.
- Then under channels, choose the appropriate category.
- You may enter a URL to a 3rd party site if you like under "location recorded".
- Go to the next page to browse for your file. Then click on upload.
- The uploading process may take a few minutes. Go cook something else while it's uploading!

What happens after I upload my video?
Your video will go through an review process..
How long will it take for my video to be on the website?
It could take several hours to several days depending on traffic,
the format and file size.
Why was my video rejected?
If your video was rejected it could be for the following reasons:
1.) content not acceptable or appropriate.
2.) video quality poor.
How does a video become featured?
The editors choose the featured videos based on appeal,
seasonal recipes, holiday and occasional recipes and other factors.
How many videos can I upload?
There is no limit to how many videos you can upload to Kissing Cuisine.
How do I remove my video or make changes to it?
You can delete your video by clicking on the "delete" under the "my videos" page or you may also edit by clicking on "edit".
What if my recipe takes longer than 10 minutes to demonstrate?
We do not set a time limit on our videos. Your video simply needs to be
under 100MB (ideally under 50 MB). Learn how to compress your videos.
The smaller your files the faster it will be to download for your viewers.
